Since March 1, foreign tourists have been able to obtain an electronic visa to Russia in just 48 hours. The new system covers dozens of countries, including the EU, the Gulf, and Latin America. Tens of thousands of applications have already been submitted in the first few weeks. This move is expected to increase travel to Moscow, St. Petersburg, and the Golden Ring regions.
