The Cuban Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR) reported that 2,8 million foreign tourists visited the country in the first nine months of 2025, a 12% increase compared to the same period in 2024. The main markets are Canada (approximately 900,000 tourists), Russia (over 180,000), as well as Spain and Germany. Havana authorities stated that they expect to reach 4 million tourists by the end of the year, a post-pandemic record. To support this growth, new flights are being launched: Air Canada has increased the frequency of flights to Varadero, and Russia's Aeroflot has added flights to Havana.
